Rear plate protecting the gas tank is rotted - The D-90 Source

SafariHP plate and get it powder coated satin black.

When you reassemble, I recommend some nice stainless bolts from McMaster Carr, coating them in anti-seize before you install them. With that combo, the bolts will come off easily if you ever need to access the tank or fuel pump.

Start with the Liquid Wrench penetrating oil or the PB Blaster well before you pull the old plate. I would hose those bolts down several times a day for at least a week. Tap them lightly with a hammer to help the oil penetrate.

You really don't want to shear the head off of one of those bolts, as it a major pain in the ass if you do.
