Meriden Woman Arrested For Percocet, Marijuana Sales ...

Middletown Police announce the following incidents:

SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY — On Jan. 9 at 12:30 p.m., Amber L. Cromeenes, 27, of Victoria Drive, Colchester, turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.

VIOLATION OF PROBATION — On Jan. 9 at 10:39 p.m., Tora Bartell, 41, of Main Street was seen by police standing in front of the 400 block of Main Street with an outstanding warrant.

POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, AND WITH INTENT TO SELL, AND WITHIN 1,500 FEET OF SCHOOL, POSSESSION NARCOTICS, AND WITH INTENT TO SELL, AND WITHIN 1,500 FEET OF SCHOOL, FAILURE TO HAVE HEADLAMPS, OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — On Jan. 6 at 10:22 p.m., Middletown Street Crime was on routine patrol when they saw a Nissan Altima with a missing headlight driven by Ashley N. Stillwell, 23, of Frary Street, Meriden. She was stopped on Liberty Street in front of Aresco’s Market; officers smelled marijuana coming from the car. A police canine was used to investigate Stillwell, who was nervous; she became emotional and said she was hiding “weed” in her bra — 8.3 grams. It was prepackaged for sale in nine baggies. She admitted to police she had Perks (Percocet) in her purse. Officers found a prescription bottle with 25 round tables. Two more bags of marijuana were found (1.6 grams). The combined total was 9.9 grams ($120 street value). She said it all belonged to her and sells marijuana to make ends meet; she bought the Percocet for $75 because of a lower back injury.

INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, AND IN VIOLATION OF LICENSE CLASSIFICATION — On Jan. 4, Hollitus E. Holloway, 31, of Washington Street was driving on Washington Street with a front plate in the windshield, obstructing view.

OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF LICENSE CLASSIFICATION, AND UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, AND WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED AND INSURANCE FAILS MINIMUM — On Jan. 4, Sean E. Barry, 21, of Town Street, East Haddam, was driving on Spring Street with a cracked front windshield.

OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF LICENSE CLASSIFICATION, AND  WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — On Jan. 4, Luis A. Saez, 34, of Main Street was driving his car, crossing Main Street near Grand, with an improper cover on the rear plate.

OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, AND UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE — On Jan. 4, David Nieves, 28, of East Street, New Britain, was driving on Spring Street with no front plate and an expired registration.

OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — On Jan. 4 at 7:05 p.m., Chari Bruce 24, of Cooley Avenue was seen by police driving on Cooley Avenue and turned onto Main Street Extension and begin to accelerate — 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE — On Jan. 4, Roy M. Moore, 43, of Hunting Hill Avenue was driving on Main Street with no front plate; Moore told police he had just bought it with the plate on it.

POSSESSION NARCOTICS — On Jan. 2, Ian R.F. Pratt, 28, of Evergreen Avenue was driving on Spring Street without a front plate and right brake light out. Police smelled marijuana in the car; upon a search, police found empty cigarette boxes, small black rubber bands used to hold bundles of heroin. In one of the cigarette boxes, police found three bluish packs of white powder, .8 grams of heroin, and an orange Suboxone pill. Pratt told police he had been arrested five years ago for possession but it had been expunged from his record. He said his friend must have left the pill and heroin in the car.

OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF LICENSE CLASSIFICATION, INSURANCE FAILS MINIMUM, FAILURE TO HAVE STOP LAMPS — On Dec. 27, Christian Morocho, 25, of High Street was driving on Rapallo Avenue without proper tail lamps.
