Motorola RAZR XT910 Smartphone

Motorola has ditched the flip-phone element and moved it into the world of touchscreen. The front has a large 4.3in touchscreen, and not much room for anything else, but the curved corners (which are also on the new Motorola Xoom 2 tablets) add that little extra style to the design.

Motorola has kept it super-sleek as with the original RAZR, measuring just 7.1mm in width, possibly making it the thinnest smartphone on the market. However, the protruding ridge at the top extends it to 10mm, which houses the camera lens and speaker.

Motorola RAZR isn’t bulletproof, but certainly far tougher than its dimensions suggest. That rear plate is hard to mark and the front is covered is scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. The volume and power buttons on the right are easy to reach while holding the phone, plus there is a four touch-sensitive buttons below the screen for Menu, Home, Back and Search, these touch sensitive buttons work exceptionally well.

The new RAZR has no internal access to the battery or any rear fascia. The ports for micro USB and HDMI are on the top of the handset. The whole phone is coated in a water-repelling layer, which means if it gets wet it will roll straight off.
