The following items were taken from the Oak Park Police blotter Jan. 25:
Burglary
A 17-year-old male juvenile, of Chicago, was observed exiting a vehicle parked at the 800 block of N. Humphrey Avenue at 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 23 and arrested by police and charged with burglary to motor vehicle. The teen was found in possession of $8.45 in cash he took from the vehicle.
Theft
Someone broke the driver’s side rear window of a car parked at the 1000 block of N. Lombard Avenue sometime between 4:30 and 4:44 p.m. on Jan. 23 and removed the car radio. The loss is valued at $350.
Someone removed a parking permit from the outside rear window of a car parked at the 1100 block of South Boulevard, Lot 115, sometime between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 20.
A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans exited the driver’s-side door of a maroon minivan and took a red bike from a bike rack at the 900 block of S. Oak Park Avenue at 5:10 p.m. on Jan. 23. He put the bike in the mini van and drove away. The loss is estimated at $100.
Someone took the bumper, grill and front Illinois license plate from a car parked at the 400 block of S. Oak Park Avenue sometime between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan 23. The loss is estimated at $1,050.
Possession of stolen motor vehicle
A 19-year-old man, of the 900 block of S. Wesley Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle that occurred at 10:49 a.m. on Jan. 17.
Criminal damage to property
Someone damaged the passenger-side rear door lock of a van parked in the alley at the 200 block of S. Maple Avenue sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Jan. 24. The damage is estimated at $150.
