While driving to a children's hospital to surprise and cheer up some sick youths, Lenny B. Robinson was pulled over while driving his black Lamborghini in a full head-to-toe Batman costume.
Mr. Robinsons's rear license plate was simply the Batman symbol from the old shows, so it caught the attention of passing officers. Montgomery County Captain, Paul Stark, commented on the bizarre run-in with "The Dark Knight", stating:
"An officer on routine patrol saw a Lamborghini with the rear plate – it was the Batman symbol for the show. He pulled him over and said, 'what's going on?' The car was registered, and the man explained that he goes to hospitals and does work with kids. They had a discussion about the law, and he let him fly so to speak."
Mr. Robinson was given a small warning, then allowed to go about his business and visit the sick kids - who would definitely enjoy a visit from Batman.
