If you're talking about the oil pan seal, which is below the bearing cap at the rear crank seal, you have to lift the engine to drop the oil pan in order to replace this. It's not something that usually leaks, unless the pan has been removed before and wasn't sealed well when replaced. Are you sure the oil isn't coming from around the crank seal?
