Rear "LS" scuff plates

These are the scuff plates that the '03s have but were de-contented for '04-'06. I found the part numbers as I was looking for something else. They are...

Right side...3W4Z-5413228-AAB
Left side....3W4Z-5413229-AAB

Good luck finding these, but those are the numbers should any be left.

I ordered a set of these in June or July from Ford. At that time , the parts guy told me there were only 2 sets left at a dealer in Wisconsin. They may still be there. It was just under 100 for the set shipped.

I think I paid like 102 dollars for them shipped to the dealer. It may be easier to find a wrecked '03 in a junk yard and get them that way. I imagine you could get them for next to nothing.

My '06 has a scuff plate molded into the trim piece. Those look like they go over the bare door jam.

Here is a pic I took after I installed them on my '06. I just used 3M tape to hold them in place. I think they snapped into place on the '03. They had tabs on them that I had to remove. The '03 must of had holes in the door sill where the tabs fit into.

It's built into the trim piece. I would consider that a scuff plate still.
